The Michaëlle Jean Foundation recognizes the urgent need to reduce the incidence of youth homelessness across the nation. To that end, we are proud to partner with the Musées de la civilization de Quebec, La Dauphine, and the School of Architecture of Laval University, on the J’habite la ville 4th Wall exhibition, which addresses homelessness in Quebec City. It is being featured at the Quebec Museum of Civilization, until Nov. 2, 2016. We are also pleased to collaborate with The Rooms, Choices for Youth, and Thrive, for an exciting project centered on empowering street-involved and homeless youth to work with their communities to curb the incidence of homelessness in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. A high profile arts exhibitions, created by young people, will serve as a catalyst to pursue a conversation around ways to engage the government and the private sector in strategies to tackle youth homelessness. Stay tuned for more information.
