National Youth Arts Week

At the beginning of April, FMJF and the Arts Network for Children & Youth (ANCY) kicked off the countdown to National Youth Arts Week, the largest celebration of creative expression of children and youth ever held in Canada.

The inaugural Week took place between May 1 and 7, 2012, across the country. Hundreds of young people expressed their ideas, showcased their talents, had their voices heard on issues that affect their lives and celebrate their positive contribution to the community and Canadian society in general. The celebrations included all art forms and the events will include all those interested in participating.
