With our unique arts for collective impact model, we empower young people from underserved backgrounds to use their creativity to drive sustainable solutions that transform lives and revitalize their communities. Our model is grounded in the premise that creativity has the power to spark public debate, to generate social innovation and to ignite collective action. We draw on expertise developed from the Foundation’s five years of experience supporting collective impact projects in Indigenous communities, small arts-based businesses, arts exhibitions in major museums and art galleries, and micro social innovation projects. In this, our 4th Wall: Make the Invisible Visible, Youth Community Action, TD Michaëlle Jean Bursaries, Young Arts Entrepreneur and Power of the Arts National Forum programs have contributed to consolidating all of our activities into one programming stream, as we move forward. Collectively, these initiatives have touched the lives of  thousands of Canadians across Canada who have witnessed their communities being positively impacted by young people leveraging the arts for social change. Help the Foundation make a difference.

Please note that the Michaëlle Jean Foundation does not offer sponsorship opportunities. All funding occurs strictly in the context of our existing programming.
